Search Engine Optimisation SEO
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is always important. Not only because it is unpaid traffic and therefore traffic is ‘free’. Paid campaigns also benefit a lot when websites are SEO-optimised. Therefore, investing in SEO actually is a no-brainer. But what does it mean and how do we approach this at Hide and Seek?
First of all, what is Search Engine Optimisation? As the name indicates, it means that you should optimise your websites for search engines. Just consider that in a split second the search engines have to come up with the most relevant result. This can only be done when the websites ‘present’ themselves in an organised way. Organising it so well that the search engines know that you are relevant, that is what Search Engine Optimisation is.
Search Engine Optimisation can be divided in On-Page and Off-Page. On-page SEO is focused on improving elements of your own website; your content, meta tags, and other elements. Off-page SEO is focused on external sites that could bring traffic to your website, via link building, blogging, social media and more. At Hide and Seek we focus on both On-page SEO and Off-page SEO.

We always start with executing a SEO-scan. In this scan, we dive into the technique, structure, and content of the website. Parts of this scan include a baseline measurement, on-page, off-page, and local SEO improvement suggestions. Next, we will advise you on what content is important and how you can improve your conversion optimisation.
During a meeting, we will walk you through the report and discuss all findings together. Then we can also decide on how and who will implement the necessary improvements. Important to note here is that we only advise on content, we do however not write copy ourselves. As we believe you have the best knowledge about your products and services. So it’s in our view best to write good content at the heart of the organisation. We will, however, tell you whether it is SEO-proof or not and how you can become better at this.
We use specific tools (e.g. Moz) to keep track of your SEO ranking and to continuously analyse the data, to come up with more ways to improve your website. This way, together we can work towards a SEO-optimised website that ranks high in the different search engines.
As we are the SEO-experts, we will always stay on top of our game. Not only looking at how your rankings are on your most important keywords, but also to what is happening in the market and keeping an eye on new digital innovations. This way we will make sure you are always a first mover in order to beat the competition.
