Hide and Seek and Electric Love Festival have been working together for 4 years now. In all those years, we’ve seen the festival grow into a festival with a lot of class and allure. Hide and Seek is closely involved in all the phases a festival undergoes, from the first line up announcement till the aftermovie. But that’s only the tip of the iceberg, what you don’t see is months of strategizing, preparing, implementing, and collaborating to let the festival thrive. All possible channels have been covered, such as Google Search, Google Display, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat.
From the 4th until the 6th of July, Julian and Gabriel traveled, on behalf of Hide and Seek, to Salzburg to attend the 3-day festival. The terrain is surrounded by lush green mountains on one of Austria’s most famous racetracks, the Salzburgring. This was the setting where one of the biggest festivals for fans of electronic music was created. Whether it’s electro, big room, bass music or techno and hardstyle – you name it – Electric Love is there for everyone.
With tens of thousands of tickets sold, Electric Love Festival is one of the largest EDM festivals in Austria. Visitors could enjoy 8 stages with more than 160 acts in 3 days. Major artists including Afrojack, Diplo, DJ Snake, Eric Prydz, Marshmello, Tiësto, Timmy Trumpet, Mike Williams & Yellow Claw were programmed.
Electric Love Mainstage
With its beautiful flowy design and colorful lights everywhere, the main stage did not disappoint and was a real showstopper. The stage shows many genres, from EDM to Bass. Every year, the stage has unique designs to showcase the perfect platform for the biggest acts in the world while maintaining the Electric Love concept. Needless to say that the Mainstage is really the heart of the festival.
From Q-dance to Honeycomb Techno
There was no doubt that the hardstyle enthusiasts could visit the festival, representing: the Q-dance Ram Stage, the second largest one of the festival and Harder Styles on Friday and Saturday. Don’t look any further if you’re a fan of Adrenalize, Brennan Heart, Code Black, Coone, Deetox, Frequencerz, Headhunterz, Gunz for Hire, Phuture Noize & Ran-D. For all diehard Hardstyle fans, the exclusive limited VIP Q-dance tickets are definitely a must.
Also, for the first time at Electric Love Festival there was a techno stage. All techno addicts, come to this stage, to enjoy the music of Sven Väth, Pan-Pot, Extrawelt, Felix Kröcher & Umek.
Shutdown Uptempo Cage
This stage represents another festival, which is given a month later, Shutdown Festival. Did you know we also have a collaboration with Shutdown? Here, the audience could go wild for several genres with a higher number of BPMs, such as Uptempo, hardcore, and Frenchcore.
Asian, Hungarian or maybe French fries?
Every year Electric Love Festival manages to surpass itself again in the small details. Truth is, a visitor does not come to a festival for culinary delights, however, it’s a big plus if you can find good and varied food. This year there was a new food corner where you could find meals from both Asian and Hungarian cuisine, and of course the typical French fries.
The perfect friends getaway
Still doubting if ELF is going to be your next trip next year? You don’t have to worry about anything. ELF has got your back, besides music – obviously – but also with its own festival campsite. It’s an ideal weekend to spend with friends, full of fun, love, and music. The partying and good times certainly continue until the early morning.
